Love's Gentle Embrace

love's gentle embrace is alluring
its hand slides down my cheek like notes falling slowly
I close my eyes and hear the music
it's intoxicating
I'm drifting somewhere far away in a fantasy
where strong arms coil around me
keeping me safe
where warm lips brush mine
leaving a shiver down my back
love's gentle embrace is enthralling
I am captured within it
suspended in the beauty
overcome with rapture
it's unbelievable
it's better than a romance novel
it's all-consuming wonder
love's gentle embrace is delicious
like the sweetest drop of nectar on my tongue
it's unearthly
it's divine
I never want to leave ~
